When you log in to the MT Connect platform as a supplier, the first thing you will see is your list of sources. By default, this shows all sources, but you can also filter them by Active, Expiring, or Inactive status.

Active sources

• These are all the sources that are currently visible to buyers.
  
• Active sources can be added to new search profiles at any time.

Expiring sources

• These are sources that you have set to deactivation.
  
• To deactivate a source:
  
  • Click on the source.
    
  • In the Listing Details window, select Deactivate.
    
• Deactivation requires a 3-month notice period.
  
• During this period:
  
  • The source will not be available for new search profiles.
    
  • The source will remain active in any existing profiles until the 3 months are over.
    

Inactive sources

• Inactive sources include:
  
  • Sources that have already been deactivated.
    
  • Sources that were uploaded (e.g., by single upload) but have not yet been confirmed for activation.
    
• These sources are not visible to buyers until activated.
  

By managing your listing statuses, you maintain full control over which sources are available to buyers, while ensuring that existing profiles have a smooth transition period when changes occur.
