Searching and selecting media sources

1 min read

The Sources view in MT Connect helps you easily find and review available media sources across markets. You can use the search bar, filters, and sorting options to narrow down results and identify the best sources for your needs.

1. Performing a Search

Use the search bar at the top to find a specific source by name.

The search results display key details for each source, including: name, language, country, type, coverage, frequency, number of suppliers currently providing this source

  • Using the drop-down menu you can also search by: country, language and type (e.g., magazine, newspaper)
  • You can refine your search using filters
    • Show current suppliers – Limit results to sources provided by suppliers you’re already working with in active search profiles.
    • Distribution coverage – Filter by National or Local sources.
    • Frequency – Filter based on publication frequency.
    • Premium sources only – View only premium content options. (Here link to What are premium sources?)
  • Use the “Sort by” option to organize results in ascending or descending order based on selected criteria.
  • Switch between table view and card view depending on your preference for how search results are displayed.

2. Selecting and adding sources

Once you’ve found a source of interest:

  1. Click on the source to review its terms, conditions, and pricing.
  2. Decide whether to add it to a group or include it in one of your existing search profiles.
  3. Alternatively, if you have a media list, you can use the bulk search feature, as described here:
