Buyers: How to Group Sources from Search Results Using Source Group Builder

2 min read

Source Group Builder helps buyers organize sources faster when preparing multi-market coverage.

Instead of adding sources one by one, you can search, select, and add multiple sources to a group in bulk. Sources can be organized by market, language, media type, or source, making it easier to build and manage coverage across regions.

Step 1: Search for Sources #

Enter a search term in the search field.

Example: “Czech”

You can refine your results further using filters such as:

  • Country
  • Language
  • Source
  • Media Type

Press Enter to display matching results.

Step 2: Select Sources in Bulk #

Select any source from the results, then click Select All from the sticky bottom bar.

Search Czech Market

All sources returned by the current search will be selected automatically.

Step 3: Add Sources to a Group #

Click Add to Group and choose one of the following:

  • Add the selected sources to an existing group
  • Create a new group and add the selected sources

This allows you to quickly build source groups from large search result sets and across multiple markets.

Step 4: Review Similar Sources #

If a source is available from multiple suppliers, a Similar Sources Detected notification will appear.

Similar Sources Detected

Click Proceed to continue adding the sources to the group.

Step 5: Manage Duplicate Sources #

Open the Group Detail page by:

  • Clicking the View Here link in the notification, or
  • Navigating directly to the Groups page
Sources have been added

If duplicate sources are detected, additional tabs such as Duplicates and Individual Sources will be displayed.

Duplicate Sources Detected

Review the available sources and remove any duplicates by selecting the relevant checkboxes and clicking Remove.

Once complete, your source group is ready to use.

Using Source Groups for Search Profiles #

Your source groups can now be used when creating Search Profiles for multi-market monitoring.

Using pre-built groups helps reduce setup time and ensures coverage is organized consistently across markets, languages, and media types.

Refer to the Search Profile setup guide for a complete walkthrough.

Closing Thought #

This feature helps reduce manual work when organizing sources across markets, languages, media types, and suppliers.
