When you create a search profile in MT Connect, the activation process depends on whether you’re using Premium sources or other supplier sources.

For Premium sources

• No confirmation is required.
  
• If your search profile contains only Premium Sources, it is activated automatically.
  
• Searches begin immediately without waiting for supplier approval.

For other sources

• If your profile includes sources from non-premium providers, the system will automatically send your request to the relevant supplier.
  
• You will receive an email notification confirming that your search profile request has been sent.
  
• The supplier then has 48 hours to review and confirm the setup.
  
• Once the supplier confirms, you will receive another email notification confirming the activation of your search profile.
